The Kal-Haven & Squash

Today was a vacation day! Yahoo!

I always try to do something fitness related and aim for 12k+steps a day! Did you know it’s recommended to step 10k steps per day? Once you hit that consistantly you will always be striving for more! My fur baby Smokey and I decided to go for a walk. We often walk the Kal-Haven Trail between Kalamazoo & South Haven. Our adventures may be anywhere from 3 to 10 miles when we walk and even up to 30 miles when we ride our bikes into South Haven. My husband Jay and I have a goal to walk 40k steps one day this fall!

Jay and I picked squash for our pumpkin stand today! We sell several decorative types of squash and still need to pick acorn and butternut squash (aka the good kind to eat!)…but that’s for another day!
